Hello, my name is Mark Celesky and I am looking forward to serving this community as President of the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce. I currently reside on an acreage outside of Ceresco, Nebraska with my wife Lori and together we have five children. From this acreage I began a company to bring agricultural education to organizations and institutions across the Midwest through live animal encounters, static displays, and personalized experiences. Through this I was connected with Nebraska Game and Parks to provide children's pony rides at Mahoney State Park, which has been going for the last 32 years.
Shortly after beginning there I was connected with Vala's Pumpkin Patch in Gretna to provide animals for the farm. I have served as Animal Displays manager for Vala's for 31 years. Through this role I created and performed a live show which has run for 30 years now titled The Pigtucky Derby Pig Races, which featured rare breeds of domestic pigs and had entertained hundreds of thousands of children and adults alike for 12,000+ performances.
In 2008 I purchased a concession stand within Memphis State Recreation Area and renovated it to better serve the park patrons and through this have assumed duties of maintenance and upkeep for the park since 2011. This laid the groundwork to later begin more stores in Louisville and now in the wonderful community of Tecumseh.
For the last three years I have enjoyed bringing new life to a number of historic buildings in the downtown square and have opened our own store front of The Tecumseh Outdoor Store.
We have been truly blessed with the warm welcome you all have shown myself and my family. I will strive to continue bringing new opportunities to this community and I look forward to serving for and with you all.
Bio coming soon. Please check back!
